Tangerine

A new hat I recently finished designing and knitting. It made a tubular cast on, elastic brim in two colors and slightly slouchy shape, and used leftover yarn from this cardigan (a mix of cashmere and alpaca that's super soft, lightweight and warm) and some laceweight merino for the contrasting color on the brim. I'm considering adding a big pom pom on top too. Would you do it?

Ten Paces & Draw. Fairy Tales

A new collaboration with Ten Paces and Draw, this time the theme of the swap was Fairy Tales. I got a sketch from Kaycie Dunlap about the "Three billy goats gruff", story I had never heard before, and this is the final result. I didn't have much time to work on this since I'm very busy with other stuff, but it was fun anyway. You can see the rest of the swap here.

I also got interviewed by Rai Robledo for the Mercedes-Benz blog. It's in spanish, though :)

Oh! And happy 2013 everyone!!! :D

A sweater for my iPad

I got myself an early birthday present, an iPad Mini, and of course, I had to knit a sweater for it. I designed the pattern to show the colors of this lovely yarn I bought last year in Porto and, even though the fair-isle is a bit wonky, I love it. It keeps my iPad safe and warm :D

Springtime in Paris

Watercolor illustration for the 2013 Snowflake Ball in Canada, a charity ball that raises funds for Crohn’s Disease, Ulcerative Colitis, and Colorectal Cancer. The theme of the Ball is "Springtime in Paris" and that's what I tried to capture in this watercolor.
