Nelson Activity Cards

I recently made these historical illustrations for a set of Activity Cards published by Nelson Education in Canada. I don't usually draw many men, so this was a quite challenging job which I realy enjoyed. Specially the Athens scene, that was a lot of fun to draw.

This weekend I rewatched "Pretty in Pink" and I just had to paint Molly Ringwald afterwards.

Sweater weather

It's finally starting to feel like fall around here. After all these months of constant sun and heat, I'm really looking forward to the chilly air, rainy days and hot cups of tea, I love sweater weather!

Cooking Club book cover

I recently illustrated this book cover for Simon & Schuster publishing. Unfortunately, they changed their minds in the last moment, but I had lots of fun doing this, I always enjoy the process of working in watercolors. Below there's a quick character study I did in gouache, which kida makes me thing that I like my roughs better, does it happen to anyone? Anyway, I took lots of progress photos that I'll be showing here soon, stay tuned!
